How to capitalize first letter in Excel

For example, I have a list of names - some are fully capitalized, some are proper while some use lower case only. I want to standardize them to have proper names.

To do it in Excel, here is the answer:

a) Enter the formula =PROPER(BY5) as shown below where BY5 corresponds to the cell that needs to be properly capitalized.

Copy the formula for the rest of the range as required.
